Closed & Gone

Curt's Books is closed. The last day open was April 20. I am now happily home riding horses & doing fire prevention work on my acreage. For indoors stuff, I am reading & watching Netflix & Giddyflix. My cats like it that I am home more now.

Large Print Books

I was able to buy a bunch of Large Print Books for the store this week. Some are up and ready to go and some are still here waiting to be processed for shelving. Some are such new releases that I put them on the front counter with the other newly released hardbacks. All are in excellent condition.

Books, lots of books

In the past week, I have been able to buy a lot of books for the store. They are mostly non fiction of all sorts, and a few fiction. Most are waiting to be processed as I have been swamped. I did get the new Large Print books up though.
I have been to two Estate Sales but they had nothing I could use for the store. The one I was at this morning had a huge TV set for sale for only $200. They need to move it before the sale next week. Anyone looking for a TV, email the store & I'll give you the number & person to call.

A Promise of News

But only a promise right now, the actual news will mostly have to wait.
One tidbit though, I was able to buy a bunch of westerns.

The Store Needs Books

More and more of the customers are not returning the fiction books for credit. I have holes in my shelves and no duplicates to fill them.
We need paperback fiction of all sorts. I'll buy them or give store credit for them.

Children's Books

We have gotten a lot of them into the store in the past month. From easy readers to Young Adult, all sorts of them have arrived. One box was nothing but Berenstein Bears and another box was all Boxcar Children mysteries. It took some finagling, but I got them all out on the shelves now.
