Boxes of Books

Shortly before closing yesterday, a truck backed up to the rear door & the 2 women offloaded 5 huge boxes of books. I only had time for a fast look, enough to know I wanted to buy them, but I did see some good ones, including a bunch of Civil War books that are still in their shrink-wrap plastic. These promising boxes of books are almost enough to have me going down the hill just to get into them on a day the store is closed. Almost--but not quite. I'll stay home with the horses & cats and the books will be waiting for me Tuesday morning.
